Pro Era rapper and producer Kirk Knight recently announced that he had finished his first full-length solo project in three years, and it's on the way very soon. To celebrate finishing work on the album, he's teased fans by sharing the record's first single, "Run It Back."
Accompanied by a Dee Knows-directed and Who Knows-produced video, the new track is our first taste of the forthcoming record, It Is What It Is (IIWII). Starring Kirk and a number of his friends, including Joey Badass and Flatbush Zombies, the video brings the same amount of energy that Kirk does on the song himself. The self-produced song sees Kirk jumping into the spotlight, showing off his talents as both a producer and rapper.
IIWII is arriving later this year at some point. With the release of "Run It Back," the New York rapper has promised fans that they won't have to wait quite as long for new music going forward.
