Atlanta rapper Kali dropped her promising EP Toxic Chocolate last month, and now she’s delivered a stylish video for one its standout tracks, “Standards.”

The Terrius Mykel-directed visual, premiering above, sees the rapper joined by friends as she lays out what she’s hoping to find in a man. It culminates with Kali confronting her lover before letting loose for a night out.

“The song is about setting boundaries in your relationships and having standards for the guys you meet,” Kali told Complex. “It’s quite simple—If you don’t meet my standards you can’t be my man.”

Toxic Chocolate arrived in March and features appearances from Moneybagg Yo, Latto, Yung Bleu, Muni Long, BIA, and ATL Jacob. Prior to the arrival of the video for “Standards,” Kali shared the Bleu-featuring clip for “UonU.” She had a viral hit on her hands last year with “Do a Bitch,” which became a trend on TikTok despite Kali telling Complex she wasn’t even sure she wanted to drop the track at first.

Kali is currently on the road with Latto and Saucy Satana for the Monster Energy Outbreak Tour, dates for which can be seen below. Her final concert on the tour will go down in her hometown of Atlanta on April 23.
