Boosie Badazz has opened up about talking to T.I. after they briefly beefed over accusations the rapper cooperated with law enforcement to get a lesser charge.

In a new interview with DJ Vlad, Boosie was asked how the conversation between them went after their recent falling out. “It just went like two bosses of handling, man,” he said, as seen above. “First of all… We got kids who love each other. … We was going back and forth, and he spoke how he felt and I spoke how I felt.” Last month, T.I. said he explained the situation to Boosie, and the Baton Rouge rapper admitted he “misspoke” when it came to claims of snitching.

“He filled me in, and I failed him. I gave him an apology, ‘cause after we kept going back-and-forth… the things he was doing for me, in my life, at the time, I kind of felt bad,” he continued. “He was doing some real shit, helping me in a lot of ways. But I still told him I stand on what I stand on. When he explained it to me, we got by it, man.” Boosie suggested the story that got them in the beef in the first place was “embellished,” and thankfully they were able to talk it out so they couldn’t “let the internet win” by pitting them against one another.

Boosie accused T.I. of snitching on his dead cousin Toot. The claims surfaced because of a 2020 episode of his expediTIously show, in which he spoke about a 2000 incident that led to a firearm charge. His lawyer offered to “make everything go away” if he pinned the weapon on Toot, who was murdered in the middle of the trial.

"Toot said, ‘I’ll take all the charges you got! If you can walk away free and put it on me, goddamn right! ’Cause I’ll be damned if they gonna come and motherfuckin’ extradite me from here!’” said T.I. in the clip, which convinced Boosie to cancel his collaborative record with the rapper. Boosie called T.I. a “rat” after the clip because it seemed as though he cooperated with law enforcement to get a less charge. T.I. denied the allegations and later explained to Boosie what really went down, and said his claims in the episode were “embellished.”
