Emani Asghedom, the 12-year-old daughter of Nipsey Hussle, is seeing love from a few of her late father’s friends after a video surfaced yesterday of her covering “I Will Always Love You.”

Asghedom’s rendition, shared by Chyna Hussle, has since picked up some traction on social media. In the clip, the 12-year-old can be heard saying she “can’t do it” before being encouraged to continue and getting a few powerful vocal lines in.

In the comment section of a clip posted to The Shade Room’s Instagram page, a few of Nipsey’s old pals made sure to commend his child on her performance. T.I. shared the comment “whoa,” while “FDT” collaborator YG dropped a handful of heart emojis. She also saw some love from B. Simone and a few others.

Emani, who is the daughter of Hussle’s ex-girlfriend Tanisha Foster, was taught confidence, integrity and leadership by her father, as he told Steph Curry on 5 Minutes from Home in 2018.

“It’s crazy to see the shift that’s happening, just to raise good people that have a foundation of principle and integrity.” he said. “When I drop my daughter off every day, I drill her. When I take her to school, we have a little convo before she gets out the car and she gets sick of running scripts with me.”
