It appears that Beanie Sigel has gotten himself into some more legal trouble exactly two weeks before he's scheduled to start a two-year prison bid for tax evasion. ABC6 reports that he was stopped early this morning on Interstate-95 in Delaware County, Pa.
When Sigel and the passenger were searched, officers found "a bottle of codeine syrup with a scratched off label, and several prescription pills wrapped in plastic bags located in a cigarette pack." Police then searched the car and seized a handgun from the center console, which is an issue for Sigel considering he's a convicted felon and cannot be in possession of a firearm.
Sigel and the passenger were taken to the state police barracks for processing and arraignment.
