The Super Bowl LIII halftime show was a little too hot for Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine to handle. On a stage that was literally ringed in flames, Levine gradually lost his clothes and ended the nationally televised set shirtless in leather pants.
It goes without saying that people on Twitter noticed, pointing out that if the show kept going we might have really seen something.
Halftime show critique is more of a national pastime at this point than the actual game. So, some Twitter users had things to say about Levine's strip-down technique.
Of course, given that the most famous and controversial moments in Super Bowl history centered around a woman's semi-bare chest, it was hard not to notice the hypocrisy of Levine jumping around sans shirt.
