Sinai has had quite the year, having earned a successful reception with her tracks "Drive" and "Racecourse", and it seems like she's set to finish the year in the same vain, sharing her latest track "A.N.X.I.E.T.Y". Her pop-tinged vocals and infectiously catchy hook make the song likely to stick in your head after just one listen which, if you're being honest, is all you could ever ask for from a good pop song.
In an email, Sinai told Complex:
"I remember traveling to my session that day, my anxiety was sky high, and I found myself listening to endless sad songs. Not. Helpful. Anyway, my friend had just told me that 2Pac's 'THUG LIFE' is an acronym for 'The Hate U Give Little Infants Fucks Everybody', so I started thinking of new acronyms but I was so bad at it so I went back to the sad songs. I finally got to the studio, avoiding a meltdown, and wrote the fight song I needed to hear—after using Jungleboi as a therapist for an hour—and got an acronym in there. I think 'A.N.X.I.E.T.Y' was me just having enough with my anxiety ruling my life; obviously, it's easier said than done, but since that day I try to remind myself that I am stronger than my anxiety ever could be."
