Pop-soul star Jorja Smith is back with a new offering in the form of a cover of St Germain's "Rose Rouge", taken from Blue Note Records' Blue Note Re:imagined album—due Sept. 25—which sees the likes of Shabaka Hutchings, Alfa Mist, Poppy Ajudha, Jordan Rakei, Nubya Garcia, and more share their own covers of Blue Note releases.

Backed by a live band on sax, keys and drums, Jorja lets her rich soul vocal burst through as the jazzy foundations keep things in balance, and reinstates herself as one of the UK's most skilled vocalists. Speaking about the track, Jorja said that she is "honoured to be involved on this Blue Note album to rework St Germain's anthem 'Rose Rouge', and with such an array of wonderful musicians on the album, including my brothers Ezra Collective."

Thanks to Annie Mac for making Jorja's 'Rose Rouge' her Hottest Record in the World! Originally by St Germain the track is part of the Blue Note Re:imagined album.
