After taking a forced hiatus, Lil Wayne is back to his old tricks.

On Friday, Weezy took to Instagram where he told his fans that he's preparing "somethin special" for them.

"Got somethin special komin real soon!" Lil Wayne captioned a post featuring two pictures of himself. "Yall stay safe and healthy out there !! - Socially distant Tune."

If history serves as a reference, then Weezy could be gearing up to bless listeners with another project. In January, Wayne released his latest album, Funeral. Some artists would let this project marinate with fans before reemerging. Yet, Wayne built his career off showering fans with music. He also has several classic mixtape series that he could add to during this time of self-isolation.

Before the country quarantined itself, Weezy went Sneaker Shopping with Complex. During the season 10 finale, Wayne admitted that he hasn't been in a mall in over a decade. But, he does have a current favorite rapper.

"You can say streetwear but they went there," Wayne said when talking about the trajectory of BAPE clothing. "With that being said, I just saw on The Breakfast Club, my favorite artist Lil Baby, I saw Lil Baby with the BAPE x Coach collaboration jacket. ... So they doing things. Shout out Bathing Ape."
