Lauren London took to Instagram to reflect on the death of Nipsey Hussle one year after he was shot in front of his Marathon Clothing store in Los Angeles.
"Time is deceptive It’s been a year since you transitioned," London, who shares a son with Nipsey, wrote. "The pain is as heavy today as it was a year ago God knows I would give anything to see you again I didn’t think I was going to survive a second of any of this Prayers have kept me together The kids keep me going and Gods Grace and Mercy have carried me this far."
Snoop Dogg, Meek Mill, and many more also took to social media to pay their respects to Nipsey on the one year anniversary of his death.
Earlier in the day an interview with DJ VIP was published by Revolt TV for their Tour Tales series. During the chat, DJ VIP said that Nipsey had "a ton" of music that hasn't dropped. "First of all, if any music ever comes out, it’s going to be with the blessing of Sam [Asghedom] (Nipsey’s brother) and the family," DJ VIP said. "So, at this point, that’s something they would have to answer. Right now, there’s a ton of Nipsey music that hasn’t been released that is original Nipsey music. But, that’s up to them. At this point, there are no plans for anything to come out in the immediate future."
