After an extended hiatus, Toronto's APB (formerly known as The Airplane Boys) are back with a video for their new single "Soundtrack."

The track finds the Scarborough boys back in their pocket, Jason Drakes spitting chilled-out flows and Mannie Serranilla singing a searing hook over a funky, spacey slice of neo-hip-hop. "This a soundtrack when your time is up," spits Drakes. It's an ode to underdogs the world over.

The track is the first single off the duo's upcoming album As We Speak, set to drop May 15. It's their first album since 2014's Egos & Expectations.

"It's about changing the vibrations with purpose," APB tell us about the album over email. "Breaking self-made rules and mental prisons, while celebrating the free thinkers of the world through creativity. Rooted in Scarborough... we pullin' up."
