Rising British singer Mahalia dropped her well-received album Love and Compromise last year, and now she's given one of its highlights a Cam'ron remix. The original version of "What You Did" included a sample of Cam's 2002 track "Oh Boy" featuring Juelz Santana, and now the Diplomats leader has blessed the track with a fresh verse, too.

Opening the remix, Cam'ron stresses the importance of remaining real and cleaning your teeth. He appears for a second verse following Ella Mai's contribution to the track, fitting in well over the smooth and relaxed production.

Mahalia had a strong year in 2019, and the arrival of the "What You Did" remix would indicate that 2020 could be even bigger for her.

Love and Compromise saw the 21-year-old songwriter flex her talents, joined by the likes of Burna Boy, Terrace Martin, Hamzaa, and Lucky Daye. With a confident delivery and an unwillingness to stick to just one genre, the project acted as a bold introduction to what she's capable of.
