DaniLeigh has returned with new music in the form an EP, My Present via Def Jam Recordings.
The 4-song EP acts as the prelude to future music she is set to release in the new year. The title is a nod to her birthday, which is today, and to how she feels in the present day. "The project is called ‘My Present’ because I’m dropping it on my birthday as a present to myself," DaniLeigh said of the project. "The EP represents how I feel in the present time – all the records are fun and just the way I want to express myself especially before the New Year ahead."
The singer released her debut album, The Plan in 2018, which included features from YG, YBN Nahmir, Lil Yachty, and more. She also participated in ComplexCon Long Beach 2019’s Community Week, where she led a writing seminar for the youth organization New Earth.
