The Marathon is making a stop in New York City on Black Friday.
From Nov. 29 to Dec. 1, Nipsey Hussle's The Marathon Clothing will host an official pop-up shop in New York City. The Marathon will occupy Live Nation's Shop Nation store on the first floor of 430 W. 15 Street. The pop-up will feature classic Marathon designs as well as exclusive TMC clothing. This includes: "Santa Bruce" Christmas sweaters, greeting cards that feature Slauson Bruce, Crenshaw District bomber jackets, limited-edition TMC sweatsuits, and more.
The upcoming pop-up shop follows the posthumous recognition Hussle has received from the Recording Academy. His single "Racks in the Middle" featuring Roddy Ricch and Hit-Boy is nominated for two Grammys—Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Song—at this year's awards. Nipsey's collaboration with John Legend and DJ Khaled, "Higher," is also nominated for Best Rap/Sung Performance.
This year, The Marathon Clothing brand has released a capsule with Jerry Lorenzo's Fear of God that benefits Hussle's children as well as dropped the Roc Nation/Puma collaboration that was planned before his death. Look out for more The Marathon moves before 2019 wraps up.
