True 2 Myself, the new project from Lil Tjay, hit streaming services Friday via Columbia.

Included among the 17 tracks assembled here are Tjay's previously released F.N. EP, remixes with Lil Wayne and Lil Durk, and more. In a message to fans Thursday night, Tjay predicted things can only go up from here.

"Thanks to everyone helping me promote," he said. "Let’s run them numbers once again."

Speaking on his ambitions moving forward in a Pitchfork discussion earlier this year, Tjay made it clear he aims to keep quality control at the top of his priorities when in the studio.

"A lot of albums got two or three singles but the rest is caca," he said. "I want every song on it to be a hit. My whole life I wanted something more—I didn't get here just to be broke at 28. I have plans: vocal lessons, dance lessons, on some Usher shit."

"Pop Out," Tjay’s collab with Polo G boasting production from JD on tha Track and Iceberg, recently landed among the songs selected as part of Complex’s Best Songs of 2019 (So Far) ranking. His two-month No Escape Tour kicks off Saturday at Rolling Loud New York.
