Up-and-coming rapper Jucee Froot unleashes the official video for “Fucked Up,” a standout cut from her newly released project Schizophrenic Flow.

The visual has an old-school, simplistic vibe that relies primarily on Jucee’s delivery. We see the Memphis MC in different locations rapping straight to the camera, as the video sporadically cuts to black-and-white shots that illustrate the struggles she raps about.

“Strugglin', sufferin', hustlin', hustlin'/But you don’t get none of it, you pay it to the government,” she spits over the Isley Brothers sampling beat. “Your kids don’t got no coverage/N***as don’t know you, they kill you for the fuck of it/So watch who you fuckin’ with.”

“My goal is to make music for everyone, but mostly for the people that need to hear my story and can relate to what I’ve been through,” Jucee Froot explained. “This track talks about real topics like being broke and going through poverty. I want to be the voice that speaks to the kind of woman that’s going through this struggle and let them know they’re not alone.”

You can watch the “Fucked Up” video—dedicated to Zarius "Flyboy Zee" Brown and Calvin "Yung Coo" Wilhite—above. Schizophrenic Flow is available now on Apple Music and Spotify.
