Scooter Braun courted controversy over the weekend after he acquired Taylor Swift's former label Big Machine Label Group and, in the process, the singer's discography. Swift shared an open letter on her Tumblr after the news surfaced, expressing her frustration and disappointment. "All I could think about was the incessant, manipulative bullying I've received at his hands for years," she wrote.

As Braun continued to receive criticism following the announcement, Sia defended him on Twitter with a message of support on Monday. "You're a good kind man @scooterbraun I hope this passed quickly," she tweeted. "I love you keep going." With over 16.5K likes and 18.5K replies, Sia has found herself embroiled in the business of Taylor Swift's issues with Braun.

Taylor Swift fans immediately started to dig for something to use against Sia. They eventually resurfaced a 2011 photo and used it to accuse Sia of using blackface at her concerts.

In a reply to the allegations leveled against her, Sia denied the claim. "For the Swift fans trying to make out that I would ever do blackface please see this video," she tweeted. "I was painting myself into the backdrop, it was a pre cursor to the wig."

Sia was not the only musician to publicly defend Braun, as both Justin Bieber and Demi Lovato have shared their support for the music mogul.
