Though it's only been three years and some change since the release of the excellent Anti, the wait for a new Rihanna album has people who enjoy very good music understandably clamoring for constant updates on the status of the tentatively titled R9. In that spirit, it's pretty damn hilarious that Rihanna's Fenty pop-up in NYC at The Webster featured a T-shirt emblazoned with the phrase "No More Music."

The shirt, which Uproxxnotes runs $230 a pop, was among the items featured at Tuesday's pop-up with a wide release set for this week. Other t-shirt designs on display included nods to Barbados, love for immigrants, and more.

As alarming as the "No More Music" may read, there's no indication it's anything more than a playful trolling. While tabloid reports of Rihanna renting out an island for recording sessions were disputed earlier this month, Rihanna herself has given some promising updates on R9 in recent weeks.

Back in May, for example, she toldT Magazine that the new one could indeed be qualified as a reggae album and may very well take on the fan-given R9 nickname in an official capacity.

"I'm about to call it that probably, 'cause they have haunted me with this 'R9R9, when is R9 coming out?'" Rihanna said at the time. "How will I accept another name after that's been burned into my skull?"
