Katy Perry has finally given fans some solo material.

Following several teasers on social media, the pop star released her new record “Never Really Over” as well as its official video. The track marks Perry’s first solo single since 2018’s “Hey Hey Hey,” which appeared on her fifth studio album Witness.

After announcing “Never Really Over” on Instagram this week, the 34-year-old singer dropped a trailer for the retreat-themed video.

“It’s a place where you go to heal your heart. And let go of any remnants of energy from older relationships,” a narrator said in the sneak peek. “It’s a place of tranquility and synchronicity.”

You can stream “Never Really Over” on all major platforms and check out the video above.

The Zedd-produced song is expected to land on Perry’s sixth studio album.
