Square Enix's Final Fantasy Brave Exvius mobile game has been going strong since 2016, and soon it'll be getting a new guest character in the form of Katy Perry. As Billboard reports, Perry will join the playable lineup of characters on Wednesday (Dec. 12), debuting a new song within the game itself titled "Immortal Flame."

Before Perry arrives in the game this week, Square Enix has shared a new trailer for the partnership, featuring a preview of the new song. This isn't the first time the Japanese developer and publisher has partnered with a singer for the game, previously including Ariana Grande in Brave Exvius early last year. Florence Welch of Florence + the Machine performed numerous songs for the latest major entry in the series, Final Fantasy XV

The trailer for Perry's special appearance in the game features the singer and her dog as she attempts to take a selfie, but things quickly change pace once she puts on a blue dress and turns into a video game sprite. Of course, KP is no stranger to video games, having been included in a Sims 3 expansion.
