Air travel is an egregiously tasking experience that's largely not even worth whatever destination awaits you, not to mention the added bummerisms affiliated with the return flight. For those fortunate enough to be in a position in which they can easily avoid the depths of despair punctuated by free peanuts and the smallest cup of ginger ale you've ever seen in your entire life, the bummers are kept at bay. Drake, for example, recently took sky -based luxury to even greater heights with the reveal of his aptly named Air Drake plane.

While Drake already let the whole world know that the Air Drake craft was the result of a strict "no rental, no timeshare" approach, a fresh report from the aviation and/or "Summer Games" enthusiasts over at TMZ have provided a bit more context.

Their report flat out uses the phrase "didn't pay a dime for it," which both destroys my theory that private planes start at around 10 cents each and confirms its freeness. Per the report, Drake got the plane for free thanks to Cargojet, who made the thing and are certain anytime someone sees it will constitute a nice example of free publicity. As for the actual cost, the TMZ report estimates that such a craft of comfort would typically set a luxury-seeker back about $200 million.

Earlier this month when we first learned such a plane even existed, Cargojet CEO Ajay Virmani let us in on the excitement level brewing behind the scenes.

"We are very excited to partner with Drake as our ambassador and assisting him with his logistical needs and requirements," Virmani said in a press release. "We have had a lengthy relationship with Drake and this partnership has grown organically between both parties. Cargojet and Drake are both great Canadian successes, we are thrilled to be partnering together."
