Chris Brown slid into Rihannaโs Instagram comments on Friday.
Earlier this week, RiRi took to IG to post a photo of herself in her newest Savage X Fenty pieces. The image, of course, received millions of likes and thousands of comments.
Breezy replied too, first writing, โBOUGHT TO BREAK DA INTERNET! KEEP RISING QUEEN,โ and then adding, โMUSIC SOON PLEASE.โ
While his comments got thousands of likes, replies included remarks like โtrash,โ โshut yo ass up,โ and โur annoying.โ There were, however, some supportive comments of the two of them getting back together.
Rihanna and Brown don't have a great history. Inย 2009, Brown got in an altercation with Rihanna while on the way home from a Grammy event. He was subsequently charged with assault, receivingย five years of probation and six months of community service.
In April, Brown faced criticism from the indie-pop band Chvrches. After the band collaborated with Marshmello for the song โHere With Me,โ the masked producer released his follow-up single that featured Brown and Tyga. Chvrches released a statement expressing their disappointment.
โWe are really upset, confused and disappointed by Marshmello's choice to work with Tyga and Chris Brown,โ the band wrote. โWe like and respect Mello as a person but working with people who are predators and abusers enables, excuses and ultimately tacitly endorses that behaviour,โ their statement continued. โThat is not something we can or will stand behind.โ
