The visual comes less than a week after the track hit streaming services. Trey, who has credited Tiller as one of his biggest inspirations, spoke about the video's aesthetic and how it paired well with the smooth vibes of "Nowhere to Run."
"This is my favorite visual so far," Trey told Complex, "from the colors, to the mannerisms, the movements, and the natural feeling it gives you. People are definitely going to like this one. It's different."

Trey has gained increasing recognition since the release of his 2018 debut EP August, a project that garnered praise from Tiller, LeBron James, and DJ Khaled.
