A heated disagreement about 2Pac ultimately resulted in an arrest and a hospital visit down in Florida.

The fight in question went down in Clearwater last week, with local outlets reporting that it all started with a disagreement about the late icon and frequent subject of debates on legacy. Clearwater cops received multiple emergency calls alleging a battery in progress at approximately 9:45 p.m. Wednesday, per WFLA.

Upon arrival at the corner of Chestnut Street and South Myrtle Ave, cops found the alleged victim—who is not named in reports—with injuries to his face including swollen eyes and large lumps. Though the person was conscious at the time, he was reportedly too drunk to relay any pertinent information to responding officers. The man was later transported to a nearby hospital and treated for a broken nose sustained during the incident.

Witnesses identified the nose breaker as 35-year-old Thomas Statkiewicz, who was subsequently arrested for felony battery. According to the cops, Statkiewicz admitted to them that he had hit the broken nose recipient multiple times after allegedly being on the receiving end of an attempted punch himself.

Unfortunately, the exact nature of the argument is not further detailed in the arrest report.

In recent related 2Pac news, erotic art and a love letter he crafted while incarcerated at the Clinton Correctional Facility in New York fetched over $21,000 at auction. The bid winner was described as a man in his 60s.
