Nickelodeon has found its path to glory for this year's Kids' Choice Awards.

Late Tuesday, the prolific provider of quality whimsy announced none other than DJ Khaled had been enlisted to host this year's proceedings. "I can't wait to bring the slime, the celebrities," Khaled said. "This is the biggest night for the kids, man, and that's what I'm about, just making sure the kids stay happy." In another statement on securing the gig, Khaled said this year's broadcast will be "the biggest party of the year."

The whole thing goes down Mar. 23 in Los Angeles. Black Panther, Mary Poppins Returns, Stranger Things, Zendaya, Fall Out Boy, Migos, Drake, Camila Cabello, and Cardi B are among those up for the night’s top honors.

The KCA gig is well-timed for Khaled, who just last month was announced as joining the cast of the long-awaited Bad Boys for Life with Will Smith and Martin Lawrence. "I'm coming for the Oscars!" he told fans at the time. The movie is due next January.

Father of Asahd, Khaled's imminent new album, should be out by then. If Khaled's most recent album teasery is indeed indicative of the final piece, fans can expect at least one "anthem" with Cardi B. "Please keep this top [secret]," he urged fans when sharing some behind-the-scenes footage from a mysterious video shoot. "Please!"
