Alex Tumay, a mix engineer who has worked with many Atlanta rappers, fired off a series of tweets challenging those making jokes about 21's arrest.

These jokes are terrible, especially from a bunch of folks acting woke 99% of the time. Fuck ICE.

ICE got thousands of kids separated from their parents forever and y’all quiet but y’all wanna make the lowest hanging fruit jokes for this.

ICE arresting celebrities to divert attention from the fact they just admitted they can’t reconnect kids with their parents and y’all eating it up. Yikes.

Less than 24 hours ago they admitted they had no way to connect thousands of immigrant children with their parents ever. Refocus.

Tumay also noted how connected 21 is to the city of Atlanta, as well as how much he's contributed.

21 does so much for the city and the youth. 💔

I got 21 questions...

— Tierra Whack (@TierraWhack) February 3, 2019

Singer and actress Abra took to Twitter to comment on sex trafficking in major cities, which she claimed is heightened during large events such as the Super Bowl. She then criticized ICE for failing to funnel resources towards actual life-threatening epidemics and rather investing time into targeting and arresting 21 Savage. There have been reports that the sex trafficking claims are a myth, however this year, 33 people were arrested in Atlanta for sex trafficking ahead of the annual event.

However, celebs such as Tierra Whack used 21's arrest as an opportunity to for laughs.
