First and foremost, singer and producer Joshua J cites Chance The Rapper as his biggest influence. It's plain to hear, both in his laid-back, carefree delivery and in the hugely uplifting melodies that surge through every one of his songs. His latest, "Let Go", is no different. Filmed out in Barcelona, the feel-good visuals follow Joshua around various city spots as he aimlessly wanders the city, taking it all in. Meanwhile, the track itself unfurls in all its hazy, summery glory.
Speaking on the video, the 20-year-old Dutch artist says "Somehow I couldn't come up with an idea for the video, so my best friend booked us flights to one of the most beautiful cities in Europe and we decided to 'let go'".
"Let Go" is taken from Joshua J's upcoming album 1998, which drops March 8.
