Sydney-born, Berlin-based Jackson Dyer has been busy for a few years now, honing his craft and his sound and taking his career from street performances to sharing stages with the likes of Hozier, Hiatus Kaiyote and Alice Phoebe Lou. Now, with three EPs and a healthy stack of singles under his belt, Dyer is getting ready to release his debut album, Inlet

There doesn't seem to be a release date set in stone for the album just yet, but he is ready to share its first single. "CBSKY" arrives today and should be a decent indicator of what the rest of the album has in store. As with past outings, "CBSKY" continues down the path of warm and sensitively crafted indie with a focus on storytelling. The track was born of, and inspired by, the profound isolation of certain parts of Australia, particularly the small coastal town in Northern New South Wales where he wrote much of the album.

Jackson Dyer explained: "I wrote CBSKY focusing on the dramatic and often senseless changes and trials that life brings. Facing many doubts and challenges in my own life, 'CBSKY' took shape over a period of a month, in a small coastal village a few hours north of Sydney, Australia... and helped me reach the understanding that change is inevitable, and that the discomfort it causes will recede with time."
