Pro Era rapper Kirk Knight closed out 2018 with the release of his second studio album, IIWII. The New York City rapper and producer had already proved himself long before the release, but he solidified his commitment to versatility on the record. Knight is now revisiting the project with a music video for one of the record's highlights, "Downtime."

Following Knight as he wakes up from what can only be described as a rough or heavy night, the "Downtime" video sees him taking a moment to himself as he recovers. Going from throwing up in the toilet to kicking back and destressing, he can't quite get the alone time he wants.

"How many times have you been overthinking and you thought so hard that you weren’t in reality anymore? Most times you enter your mind and you’re stuck in such deep thought you can’t get out of your own head. That’s how I felt when making this song," Knight told Complex.

The rapper and producer will show up at Governors Ball on June 2 alongside Pro Era and Beast Coast. He'll also be headlining Rough Trade in Brooklyn on Feb. 1; tickets are available here.
