Drake and Future the Prince are helping to start a new production company. According to Deadline, the pair have signed a first look deal with Matthew Budman to launch the nascent Forest Hill Productions, a new enterprise that appears to be named after the neighborhood in which Drake grew up

Budman's Hollywood bonafides are unquestionable. He's spent most of the last decade at Annapurna Pictures, the production company behind critically acclaimed hits like American Hustle and Her, and he sees something in the pair.

“Drake and Future the Prince have been leading the way as artists in the music and fashion arena, and I’m honored to be collaborating with them as they continue to broaden their influence in the original content space,” said Budman.

Future the Prince showed off what Drake meant when he said "Future took the business and ran it for me," speaking for both of them on the subject of the new deal.

“Drake and I are thrilled to partner with our longtime friend at the inception of Forest Hill Entertainment, supporting Matthew and his team as they set new, unprecedented boundaries of groundbreaking content,” he said. “This partnership aligns strongly with our mission of developing and fostering emerging and preeminent talent across the entertainment landscape.”

Now that Drake is back on a content-creating wave, it's perfectly kosher to jump on his social media accounts and ask where Top Boy season 3 is.
