Cardi B's Invasion of Privacy will probably still soundtrack parties in 2019, but the rapper is getting ready to follow up her wildly successful debut.

The Bronx star said on Instagram Live that she hopes to put out her sophomore album within the next few months.

"Of course, it's going to be an album in 2019. Hopefully, I can get my album done around the same time that Invasion of Privacy came out," she told her fans (Invasion of Privacy dropped April 5). "I don't know how possible that's going to be because I feel like I'm going to be extremely, extremely busy."

After a strong year, Cardi's 2018 ended with her personal life on the forefront. She announced she was splitting up with Offset early December, and defended her publicist on Instagram on Sunday after she confronted a bystander at an Australian airport who insulted Cardi. Will she address her relationship with Offset? Will there be anything that goes as hard as "Get Up 10?" Fans will have to wait until spring to find out.
