Cardi B's new single "Money" has arrived.

The new track may imply that Cardi is embarking on the next chapter after Invasion of Privacy; we'll find out soon enough. Initially, Cardi's team teased that the song would be arriving this Thursday. Instead, we got it a couple days early. No complaints here.

Cardi shouts out morning sex, diamonds, boarding jets, and more on "Money," ultimately asserting that she'd rather have a check than any of those things; however, the check apparently has to have at least six figures. According to Jezebel, Cardi recently performed at a NYC bar mitzvah for an insane amount of coin. A source didn't reveal exactly how much Cardi was paid for the appearance, but stated the rapper "wouldn’t get out of bed for less than half a million."

"I've been in the studio with her a few times since all the success, but she's so busy," JWhiteDidIt told Complex. "It's kind of hard to catch one another in the studio. I'm doing other sessions and working with other people, as well. Thank God we got the internet so we can send emails back and forth to get the song done, but that's the only thing that's changed."

Earlier this month in her W magazine cover story, which was prominently featured during Google's Pixel 3 event, Cardi spoke of how it felt to return to her dreams of music after setting them aside prior to the release of Gangsta Bitch Music Vol. 1. "I was just, like, over my dreams," she said of her pre-music fame days. 'To me, it's all about money. I gave it a try when I could afford it."

That cover story also resulted in a 13-minute video of Cardi B giving ASMR a try:

Last week, Cardi popped up on Lil Yachty's new album Nuthin' 2 Prove for the Tay Keith-produced highlight "Who Want the Smoke?" featuring her husband Offset. That same week, producer Bangladesh teased a possible Cardi B x Meek Mill collaboration. Hopefully, we'll be getting that one after "Money."
