On Sunday, YBN Cordae teased that he had something new on the way soon, tweeting, "Might drop tomorrow on some slight shit." The clip teased a smooth new cut which saw the North Carolina-born rapper leaning more towards the approach he took on his viral track "Old N****s," reflecting on the year he's had with the rest of the YBN crew. Now he's shared the fresh track, complete with a laid-back video partially filmed in the studio.

Tweeting about the new song, he said, "As I reflect on the past year, I made this realizing what's really important. A freebie for the fans." He says that it won't be making its way to streaming services anytime soon, instead offering it up on both YouTube and SoundCloud only. Check out the video, which features appearances from some of the artists that helped make 2018 such a big year for him, above.

Recently, Cordae appeared on the soundtrack for Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. The 21-year-old rapper has had a banner year, and he sat down with Complex at the start of the month to promise that he's only just getting started. “Hopefully, somebody who’s hearing my music, it’s relatable to them, and it strikes a chord with them,” Cordae explained.
