While it's common knowledge that 2Pac was one of the most skilled lyricists the rap game has ever seen, it may not be as widely known that the late rapper was also quite the artist. Love letters and explicit illustrations Pac made for his girlfriend while he was locked up in the mid-'90s are officially hitting the auction block.
The erotic drawing shows Pac with his then-girlfriend Desiree Smith getting it on atop a couch, accompanied by the words "Missing You Deeply," and "forever with love." Although the artwork appears to be quite sexual by nature, the sentiments which accompany the illustration signal to something larger than just sex. The drawings can be viewed here.
Steiner Auctions, who is overseeing the sale, said that the drawing, envelope and card, were created while the Better Dayz rapper was incarcerated at Clinton Correctional Facility in Dannemora, NY in 1995. The illustrations are officially going up for auction on Dec. 24.
This isn't the first time Pac's artwork, courtesy of his estate, has been offered up to the auction block. Last month, two letters the rapper wrote to his high school love interest were open for bidding. Both letters were addressed to a young woman by the name of Averel, written while Pac was a student at Paul Laurence Dunbar High School in Baltimore. The first letter serves as an introduction, while the second reportedly turns up the heat. Averel reportedly sold the letters to auction house Moments in Time last year.
