Master P has taken to social media to address Kodak Black's latest comments about him. The comments in question came during Kodak's most recent Breakfast Club interview (the one that birthed one of the best memes of 2018) in which he said, "How you gonna say, ‘okay it ain’t about no money,’ but then turn around and be on some money shit?"

The quote was in reference to the No Limit founder's past mentorship of Kodak earlier in his career, a relationship that Master P reportedly eventually requested payment for. To clear the air, the 48-year old took to Instagram to make some comments of his own.

"A lot of these artists, when you try to help them, they say something crazy," said Master P. "The only thing I was trying to do with the little boy was help him."

He continued, "Everything you doing on social media is telling on yourself. You're the police because you're telling on yourself. You're putting guns. You're putting money up. You got 150 Gs, but you can't give 10 Gs back to the community or school you went to." The Southern rap legend also made quick mention of Kodak's latest comments involving Lil Boosie offering to sign him for $10,000 when he was first coming up a few years ago.

Master P's message concluded with some more advice for the 21-year old rapper. "Look at the people who have been there before you. We really can help you."
