Vic Mensa Shares New Single "Dark Things"

After getting twisted into various social media squabbles, it seems as though Vic Mensa has decided to refocus his energy back into his music as he dropped off his latest single, "Dark Things."

Mensa premiered this track on Wednesday (Nov. 21) during his appearance on Zane Lowe's Beats 1 Radio show. Vic accompanied the debut of "Dark Things" with an official music video and the announcement that the record is actually the first single off his upcoming Hooligans, EP, which he plans on dropping on Dec. 14.

"This is Vic Mensa filling in for Zane Lowe and you've been listening to the first single off my HooligansEP releasing on Dec. 14," Mensa explained. "The song is called 'Dark Things' is something that I wanted to make to represent those dark edges and recesses of my mind you know."

The Chicago native then went on to detail who will be featured on the upcoming project. 

"On the Hooligans, EP I'm working with a lot of a lot of people I came up with in Chicago. Stephen Ponce produced 'Dark Things.' He also produced "Down on My Luck" for me and "You Mad," he said before disclosing that Ty Dolla Sign, G-Eazy, Charlie Wilson, and more will be appear on the tape.
