Lil Wayne Shares New Music f/ Gucci Mane and Post Malone

Wayne dropped 'Tha Carter V' back in late September.

Lil Wayne is back with even more music.

Less than two months after dropping Tha Carter V, the New Orleans-born rapper has come through with three more tracks. There's "Hasta La Vista," "In This House" featuring Gucci Mane, and an updated version of "What About Me" with Post Malone

Artist Johnny Yukon previously told Rolling Stone that both Post Malone and Drakewere supposed to appear on Tha Carter V. Obviously that didn't happen. Drake was initially supposed to hop on "What About Me" but the feature fell through.

“The initial idea was to get Drake on it,” Yukon said. “That was something [Lil Wayne] said to me that night [he recorded his vocals]… Then there were emails back and forth—‘They think Drake’s going to get on it.'”

Yukon added: “The last thing we heard about it, around a year and a half ago, while we were sending the song back and forth, making edits …. at that point, the emails were like, ‘Drake’s gonna cut to it’ […] I don’t know what happened. We didn’t find out that Drake was officially not going to be on it until this week.”

After finding out that Drake wasn't going to be on the song, they enlisted the help of Post Malone. “There is a version [of ‘What About Me’] that Post cut literally this week,” Yukon revealed. “[But] something happened, I don’t know what. Something got delivered wrong. That all happened last night.”

That version of the track with Post Malone has now seen the light of day. Who knows, maybe a Drake version will pop up sometime in the near future.

Until then, you can stream "Hasta La Vista," "In This House,"and "What About Me" with Post Malone over on Apple Music or below via Spotify.
