Earlier this year, Key! presented 777, a collaborative effort with producer Kenny Beats. The project, which was met with acclaim, demonstrated their sonic chemistry. The duo have linked up to present their latest cut, this time with some assistance from Brooklyn's Jay Critch.

Key! has a knack for linking up with New York talent to craft bangers, and Critch's appearance on "Cable Guy" furthers that streak. The title of the song is a nod to the 1996 comedy film of the same name that Jim Carrey starred. Though both rappers hail from cities with strong, distinctive styles, it's apparent they don't intend to chase any particular sound but their own. Mixed in with Kenny Beats' production, "Cable Guy" proves to be a strong addition to Key!'s catalog and an indication that the rapper/producer duo has more in store for fans.

"Cable Guy" comes after the release of Critch's debut project Hood Favorite, as well Vince Staples' album FM!, for which a majority of the production was handled by Kenny.
