Ski Mask the Slump God

It seems we’ll have to wait a little longer for Ski Mask the Slump God’s debut album.

The Florida-born rapper broke the news on social media Saturday, telling fans he has decided to delay the long-awaited project so he could ensure it was up to his standards.

“I’m pushing the album back not far,” he wrote, “but to make sure everything is perfect.”

Though Ski Mask didn’t reveal any details about the release, he insisted the wait will be “very worth it.” He also told his followers that he intends to release a couple of videos in the near future—perhaps to make the anticipation a little more bearable.

It was a little over two months ago, when Ski Mask suggested his first album would arrive sometime in October. He didn’t reveal the project’s title, featured artists, or a specific release date; however, he did confirm that it would span 16 tracks, some of which he has since previewed on social media.

Be sure to keep it locked as more details about Ski Mask’s album become available. The 22-year-old rapper has also teased a joint mixtape with his good friend and collaborator Juice Wrld.

“Our Collaboration Tape Will Destroy The World @juicewrld999,” he wrote in a since-deleted Instagram post. It’s unclear if that project is still happening, but the two rappers have already cooked up an unreleased record. You can get a taste of the track below.
