As 2018 comes to a close, we have at least one more batch of new music worth looking forward to: Gunna's Drip or Drown sequel.

Over the weekend, the YSL signee confirmed that Drip or Drown II—which he says will be executive produced by Wheezy and Turbo—would arrive before year's end. The announcement arrived at the end of a series of tweets about his giving of zero fucks regarding the word "drip." Specifically, Gunna let fans know he doesn't care who "created" it.

Ima say this one time only ! I Don’t Give a Flying Fucc about The Word DRIP ! Or Who ever say Dey created it ! BuT I make HITS and i really put dat Shit On 🤷🏾‍♂️ No Capp !

The original Drip or Drown, featuring "Invest" and the Young Thug-assisted "Don't Play With It," dropped last November. Earlier this month, Gunna and Lil Baby linked for their collab mixtape Drip Harder. Both Turbo and Wheezy contributed heavily to the 13-track tape, which—like the upcoming Drip or Drown sequel—carries an EP credit by Turbo. In an interview with Complex surrounding that tape's release, Turbo cited Young Thug as hugely influential to his confidence in his production style.

"I appreciate recording Young Thug and being around him so much because he’s the one who gave me the confidence to know that it's okay to be a perfectionist," Turbo said. "It's okay to make sure that you're all the way satisfied with something, because he'll bounce a song 17 times, then go back and listen to it and say, 'No no no, we've got to do this or do that.' I was always like that, but people would be looking at me like that's strange, wondering why I keep stopping tracks or doing this or that."
