Endless Summer is an ongoing theme for G-Eazy, who just wrapped up his headlining Endless Summer Tour with Lil Uzi Vert, Ty Dolla Sign, and YBN Nahmir. Now, G-Eazy’s dropped off a new track of the same name, “Endless Summer Freestyle,” featuring YG.
On the record—which G-Eazy teased on Instagram—the two go back to back, trading braggadocious verses. “Mixin' Prada with Balenciaga, 'member when I didn't have a dollar to my name/Now these girls are chasin' clout, would swallow for the fame/And now my bank balance and my followers the same, M's,” Gerald raps.
There is speculation this is a taste of the second installation in The Endless Summer series, which G-Eazy first introduced in 2011.
The freestyle is the follow up to G-Eazy's most recent song, “Rewind,” and his Machine Gun Kelly diss “Bad Boy.” G-Eazy became wrapped up in Eminem and MGK’s beef last month after the latter called out G-Eazy in Funk Flex freestyle. G-Eazy shot back with “Bad Boy,” rapping, “Your shots just graze me/I'm standing, they put a hole in me/I answer to no one, nobody can get control of me/MGK please stop trolling me, get over me.”
