"Freakishly soon" is when we should expect to be handed T.I.'s new Dave Chappelle-featuring album.

"The wait is almost over," T.I. told fans when sharing a trailer for The Dime Trap Tuesday night. The album, which has been teased and discussed in the press for several years now, will feature Chappelle as the voice in T.I.'s head.

"All my life all I wanted to do was be great," Chappelle says in the album trailer, seen below. "If the stakes are everything, you'll tell yourself anything you need to hear to survive. Everything I say is the truth and that's a lie, and that's the motherfuckin' truth."

Earlier this month, we learned that T.I. had signed a new deal with Epic Records. When announcing the deal in a press release, Epic said Dime Trap was "about to be released" and described the new songs as T.I. "once again taking his always-evolving artistic franchise to new heights."

Surrounding the announcement, T.I. utilized the industry chatter to his advantage by sharing two new tracks: "Jefe" featuring Meek Mill and "Wraith" featuring Yo Gotti.

This year also saw T.I. reprise his role as Dave in Ant-Man and the Wasp, a high-profile role he’ll be following with the upcoming Cut Throat City and Dolemite Is My Name.
