Sheck Wes Wants Kanye to Be 'More Involved in' His Career

The Harlem rapper shared his thoughts via Twitter on Tuesday, stating: "I honestly just want Ye to be involved so i can give him the scouts. Like i already have."

All eyes are on Sheck Wes.

Since inking a joint deal with G.O.O.D. Music and Cactus Jack Records this year, the Harlem rapper has solidified himself as one of hip-hop’s rising stars. He’s dropped a number of singles, collaborated with Travis Scott, appeared in John Elliott’s Spring/Summer 2019 fashion show, and is now gearing up to release his much anticipated debut album Mudboy.

Though it seems Sheck’s career is unfolding quite nicely, the 20-year-old rapper says there’s one thing he wishes he could change: “I wish Kanye was more involved in my career,” he tweeted Tuesday. “Idk wtf he getting into.”

I wish Kanye was more involved in my career . Idk wtf he getting into .

It’s important to note that Sheck didn’t blast Kanye West or any member of the G.O.O.D. Music crew; however, he did claim to have recorded Mudboy completely solo:

I mean like i don’t need nobody though . I used to have like 30 kids at my shows . Mo Bamba was out last year i never gave up on that songs energy . And i recorded my album dolo. I just care about everybody though,
