The ongoing drama surrounding Cardi B and Nicki Minaj continues to heat-up, and now Cardi's husband is looking to get involved. As the Shade Room pointed out on their Instagram, Offset posted two stories on his IG story sending off warning shots. "Every n***a around you gone feel this smoke innocent and all lol," he wrote.
"See I'm really on that shit u talking," the post continues. "Don't play around when I see n****s I'm not gone play. N****s should stay in they lane I don't play fair." He didn't name any names, but it's highly likely he's addressing Nicki after she said Cardi had "built her career off of sympathy and payola."
Whether this is him standing up for his wife or warning anyone else about coming for him isn't clear, but it's obvious he's not happy. We may very well see an indefinite hiatus on any collaborations between her and the rest of the Migos for the foreseeable future.
The drama between Cardi and Nicki reached a violent peak last week when the pair allegedly got into a fight at the Plaza Hotel in New York City. Cardi was the first to address the altercation, posting on her Instagram, "I've let a lot of shit slide! I let you sneak diss me, I let you lie on me, I let you attempt to stop my bags, fuck up the way I eat! [...] I've worked too hard and come too far to let anybody fuck with my success."
