San Francisco, a cool place where cool things routinely happen, was the recipient of a surprise Kanye West appearance Wednesday night.
West hit the stage during Teyana Taylor's show at the Regency Ballroom for a performance of their KTSE collab "Hurry," inspiring a wave of screams and general freak-outs in the audience. After dropping his verse, West remained onstage to film a portion of Taylor's set. Catch footage of the G.O.O.D. moment below.
Taylor's tour, now a solo run after she kicked Jeremih off the bill, continues Friday night in Seattle at the historic Showbox SoDo.
Earlier Wednesday, West shared a photo of Oscar-winning director Spike Jonze, noting his "great energy." The two have collaborated on multiple pieces in the past, including the North West-starring video for West's Paul McCartney collab "Only One," the "Flashing Lights" video, and the short film We Were Once a Fairytale.
Hopefully, this is a hint that West and Jonze are bringing their creative voices together once again, perhaps for a Ye and/or Kids See Ghosts-related visual.
