So it turns out the reports were true. Noted Pornhub fanKanye West is the co-creative director of the adult website’s inaugural awards show.
The event, which is going down tonight in Los Angeles, was curated by Kanye and his longtime collaborator Willo Perron, who handled the lighting and production design. The 2018 Pornhub Awards will feature a futuristic theme, complete with bespoke award statues that resemble “alien sex toys.”
According to a Pornhub press release, Ye’s brand Yeezy provided make-up styling and wardrobes for tonight’s presenters. Replicas of each Yeezy ‘fit will be made in collaboration with Fashion Nova, and will be available to purchase online. Kanye will also drop DONDA-designed merch on YeezySupply.com and Pornhub.com later this evening.
The 2018 Pornhub Awards will include a live performance by G.O.O.D. Music signee Teyana Taylor, as well as the premiere of Kanye and Lil Pump’s collaborative track “I Love It.” The song’s video, executive produced by Spike Jonze and co-directed by Kanye West, will be screened during the event, and is expected to drop shortly after.
