6ix9ine was reportedly not home during the time of the raid.

It looks like 6ix9ine's legal issues, which include pleading guilty to a felony count of use of a child in a sexual performance and allegedly choking a 16-year-old at a Texas mall, might be growing.

TMZreports that federal agents raided 6ix9ine's Brooklyn home on Friday and found a firearm during the search they conducted. The publication also reports law enforcement sources as saying the rapper was not home at the time of the raid.

The 22-year-old 6ix9ine, born Daniel Hernandez, was reportedly in the process of moving out of the home that was the target of law enforcement authorities. TMZ cites sources close to the situation as saying the rapper hasn't been in the home for "several weeks." The reason as to why the home was searched or who the alleged gun belongs to is currently unknown.

We'll update as more information about the raid becomes available.
