Ciara’s back with her latest song, “Dose,” a high-spirited anthem aimed at uplifting women.
Backed by a drumline beat, the single is reminiscent of high school pep rallies. In conjunction with the release, Ciara also dropped a lyric video, which features inspirational black and white images of women and young girls, both from the present and past.
Ciara marked her come back in Julywith her single “Level Up,” which was a direct reference to her controversial #LevelUp tweet about her marriage. The song got another push her #LevelUpChallenge, where she posted her own #LevelUpChallenge video as a prompt for her fans to perform the choreography featured in the single’s music video. Following the challenge, she released the “Level Up” remix featuring Missy Elliott and Fatman Scoop.
She followed the remix with the twerk-ready single “Freak Me.”
