Trippie Redd Wants Kanye West to Give Chicago '$30 Million to Build a New Hospital'

When speaking about connecting with his fans during a recent show in Chicago, he asked why artists from Chicago aren't doing more for the city. He explicitly named Kanye West.

During a chat on Power 106 Los Angeles, Trippie Redd spoke about everything from conspiracy theories and his tour with Travis Scott, to what he'd do were he Kanye West. When speaking about connecting with his fans during a recent show in Chicago, he talked about how he sat down with his fans as part of his hope to "change the youth," at which point he asked why artists from Chicago aren't doing more for the city.

"There's only one hospital in Chicago that got a place you can go after you get shot, so if you get shot 40 minutes away from the hospital you gotta go 40 minutes," he explained at the 10:30 mark of the interview. "That's sad.. and they got so many artists that done made it out of there, like, not even trying to diss Kanye cause I love Kanye, but I mean Kanye, like, that's where he from... Go show Chi-town some love, go give 'em $30 million to build a new hospital."

Earlier in the interview, he wanted to make it clear how big of a Kanye fan he really was, but he does seem to wonder why there's not more from 'Ye and other Chicago rappers to improve the city. "I don't know, that's how I think... That's what I would do," he said.

The Life's a Trip rapper did take a moment after to lighten the mood, highlighting his fascination with the wildly fascination 'Berenstein Bears' conspiracy theory at the 14:30 point of the interview, just after bringing up the very popular Mandela Effect phenomenon.
