As International ASTROWORLD Day continues, we've now been gifted with the chance to kick back to a special two-hour episode of Travis Scott's Beats 1 show .wav Radio.

The first hour included a selection of cuts from ASTROWORLD interspersed with insight on the album's recording process and some cuts from others, including Wiz Khalifa's Rolling Papers 2 track "Very Special" and Gunna's excellent "Helluva Price." Later, Scott intermittently unleashed a trio of new songs, including a Gunna collab and a fresh one with Playboi Carti. We also got the debut of Cactus Jack signee Ashton Travis' new song "Death Row."

Stream the return of .wav here via Apple Music and/or access the archived episode for future listens right here.

The new album, Scott's first since 2016's Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight, loads its energizing all-caps songs with a variety of guests enlisted to bring out the best in La Flame. That approach worked, with early highlights like the Tame Impala collab "Skeletons" and the Stevie Wonder outro on the Kid Cudi and James Blake–featuring "Stop Trying to Be a God" showcasing Scott in peak form. During Friday's .wav broadcast, Scott gave a shout-out to fans for being patient during the pre-ASTROWORLD era. "I just be trying to make the illest music I can," he said.

If Scott's previously teased plans are still in place, we can expect the album to be toured alongside actual amusement park attractions.
